Welcome to SAUK Triathlon
SAUK is a sports club primarily based in SW London with a significant South African flavour involved in the three disciplines of triathlon: swimming, cycling and running.

The club is made up of athletes of all abilities who want to train and race in a familiar and friendly environment, while gaining knowledge and sharing information about the sport.

SAUK triathlon is open to everyone from complete novice to seasoned Ironman triathlete, and of course you don't have to be South African - we have plenty of members from all over!

We like to put a big effort into our training so we can excuse the large effort we put into our socialising afterwards.

When entering races, always put SAUK Triathlon as your club. This will ensure club recognition and help in the allocation of points for the new London club triathlon league.

 20/02/2009 ::Spin Sessions::
Pedal Studio Club spin sessions are held on Thursday evenings 7:30-8:30 and 8:30-9:30 at the Pedal Studio.

 30/01/2008 ::Letter from the Club Captain::
DWJ The Club Captain, Dave Whittingham Jones, has written a letter to outline his plans for 2008:

With post season resting and festive season indulgences behind us, we reached that time when we shift our thoughts to the year ahead. Reluctantly we dust off our bikes and stretch our legs with the intention of heading out in the damp January weather to clear out the training cobwebs and hit the 2008 season in big chain-rings.

We're getting a lot of enquiries.... more here

 09/01/2008 ::Farewell Robby::
Robby The end of last year saw one of the most popular and influential members of SAUK move back to SA with his family.

Robby Riccardi will always be remembered by many of us for his tireless energy and enthusiasm, for his ability to talk for hours on any topic of his choosing, and for his willingness to help along novices who didn't know their Zipps from their HRMs.

So we're doing a special on Robby:

Cheers china!

The Start of The Vitruvian

Congrats to everyone who raced The Vitruvian this past weekend.

The race was hosting the National Middle Distance Champs and the Inter Service Champs so there was a pretty good field. The atmosphere was great, the conditions perfect and everyone had a fantastic time. Definitely one to seriously consider for next year's race calendar!

 14/03/2007 ::SAUK Trisuits!!!::
TriSuit

The spangly new SAUK trisuits have come through (click image for larger view) and we will be doing a fitting tomorrow Thur 14 Mar at the Time Trial (see Training section for details).

Someone will be there, upstairs at The Telegraph from 7:00PM onwards and you can try on different sizes to see which one you want to order.

As you can see from the image, Kerry Short has done a great job on design and I can tell you that they do look fantastic on - we will definitely make a big impression at races.

Do remember to bring either cash or a cheque book as you will need to pay there and then - cost is a bargain £50.
